What to do...

Most of us have inkjet printers at home or work. Next time you have an empty cartridge, don't throw it away. Put the cartridge in a Ziploc bag or the original cartridge box to be recycled and bring it to:

  • Hermantown Area Chamber Office (4940 Lightning Drive; 729-6843)

  • Curtis Oil & Tire (4995 Miller Trunk Highway; 729 8241)

  • Hearth N Home (5493 Miller Trunk Highway; 719-8256)

  • U S Link (129 E. Central Entrance; 740-3300)

  • Beacon Bank (1405 Miller Trunk Highway; 279-0061)

Benefits to the Hermantown Area Chamber...

The Chamber will be paid $2.00 for each cartridge with a printhead or cell phone. Provides funds to expand services to membership.

Benefits to our community...

Reduce pollution. Cartridges do not decompose for 1,000 years. Saves Energy. Empty cartridges can be remanufactured and reused.

Which cartridges:

Cartridges with a printhead are qualified for payment. the includes most of Hewlett Packard, Lexmark, Compaq, Canon and Apple. Cartridges without a printhead do not qualify for payment. That includes Epson. If you cant tell the difference, bring it in anyway.

Every cartridge or cell phone helps. We can make a difference. On average, a person uses 2 cartridges per year. You can also get empties from friends, neighbors and small businesses.

Thank you for supporting the
Hermantown Area Chamber of Commerce!
